Nestled amidst the serene natural beauty of Maine, rustic cottages dot the shoreline of Sebago Lake, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. These charming retreats, often constructed with knotty pine and featuring cozy screened porches with rocking chairs, embody the quintessential New England charm. Visitors to Sebago Lake can indulge in the panoramic views of the lake’s vast 47 square miles of pristine waters, ideal for swimming, boating, and fishing. The cottages, many of which have been welcoming guests since as early as 1924, provide a blend of traditional aesthetics and modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay while retaining the rustic allure..
The allure of Sebago Lake’s rustic cottages is further enhanced by their proximity to a variety of outdoor activities and local attractions. Guests can enjoy the large sandy beaches bathed in full sun, or engage in recreational activities on the communal lawns, such as barbecues, ball games, and badminton. For those seeking a more relaxed pace, the screened porches offer a perfect vantage point to rock gently and soak in the tranquil lake views. With their idyllic setting and inviting atmosphere, these cottages provide an authentic Maine experience, where the simplicity of cabin living meets the natural grandeur of Sebago Lake.
Camp Adage: "If you don't get hurt at camp. Your probably not having fun."
Uptadacamp is a family camp that has been maintained, not renovated, to allow guests to experience a real classic Maine Lake Cottage, while also having many modern conveniences. As an estate property, used primarily by the Perfilio family to enjoy summers together, we are excited to share our camp with your family.
If you enjoy experiencing the outdoors similar to folks back in the 30's, 40's and 50's, Uptadacamp is a place that holds true to those traditional values. The Camp is intended to support the spirit of "there are no guests here, only participants", where healthy outdoor activities foster teamwork.
As outdoor enthusiasts, we have a number of extra fun things to experience, including boating, jet-sking, atv-ing, Jeep-ing and golf-carting, that the camp compound is designed to support and foster. Ask the hosts about the option to include some or all of the extra "enthusiast" activities that we recommend you consider.
For members of your family that may not be as "enthusiastic", camp offers plenty of room (2 1/2 acres) of quiet places. The property includes 250ft of unobstructed water views of Sebago Lake, wooded walking paths, and an overlook of an unspoiled wetland, perfect for your family to spread out.
Can we use all the stuff at camp? Absolutely! The camp experience and is all inclusive.

Camp Adage: "There are no guests here. Only Participants."
Camp has one fundamental policy... You are here to serve others in pursuit of friendship in a relaxed & loving environment. We encourage campers to spend the daylight hours enjoying outdoor activities together without the influence of substances. Many of the activities at camp have a certain risk of injury and warrant a sober approach. However, modest consumption of libations is condoned as evening quiet-time hours approach to assist in reflecting on the days events.
Camp is also a place where respect for thy neighbors is encouraged. The Camp is only one camp surrounded by others, where we encourage you to be respectful of other campers by gauging whether loud activities would be acceptable to others.
Be yourself and be a kid.
Consider your hosts... trainers who will assist you on how to get the most out of camp.
